hey Jen, I just finished the podcast with Charlotte and I want to let both of you know that it really inspired me in a new way with my own business. In November, I’m giving a talk on body confidence and showing up in portraits for a personal branding audience. I realized when I was listening that I don’t do nearly enough to show my own body and if I can’t get over my own issues how can I expect other people to do the same so I’m on a mission to do new Headshots and start a campaign called "just like me" where women can see other women that have every day bodies, stepping up to the plate and getting their portraits done no matter where they are in their journey. I haven’t felt this Excited about portraits in a very long time! -Kristen Vallejo
Love this SO much!!!! Thank you for helping me through this challenging stage and go through layers of beliefs.
I really appreciated the episode on decoding cravings. I’m learning so much from your podcast—it’s the first perimenopause/menopause nutrition podcasts that I’ve found. I’m still learning about intuitive eating, and I have a question: how would I manage intuitive eating and pre-diabetes? I pay attention to how foods make me feel, but it seems like it might not be enough. My mom and my brother have type 2 diabetes, so I really want to be careful and avoid diabetes if I can.
thank you so much for this podcast. I am definitely in the “curiosity” place and really didn’t know where to start. The fact that I burst into tears several times is probably a good sign I need to keep exploring. Would love any other essential podcasts to listen to on intuitive eating
